    Dressing in Leaves

Dressing in leaves is a kind of art. The rule is simple: I let the forest show me what to wear today, and I carry the forest style with a smile.

In this case, a hat shaped like Attic, knitted by Eszter, works perfectly. It’s like a walking little house. A bit like being at home while on the road. And wool gladly holds onto leaves.

The result is that people on the trail smile at me as if they were seeing a walking forest.

    Fluffy Geisha

    Svetlana ma dar nazywania świata.
    Rzeczy przestają być rzeczami.
    Stają się osobami.

    Suche paprocie nazywa „fluffy geisha”.

Czytam w książce Gathering Moss Robin Wall Kimmerer,
że nadawanie imion roślinom i skałom
    jest formą budowania relacji.
    Że imię na ustach zdradza,
    jak dobrze się znamy.

“The name on our lips reveals the knowledge we have of each other,
hence the sweet secret names we have for the ones we love…”

  • Gościnność kamienia

    Welcomed by Stone

I invite the Attic collective a group of artists and friends to walk with me through the sandstone formations of the Jetřichovice Rocks.

And on that day, the rocks are exceptionally gracious hosts.

In autumn, the colors of leaves are among the most beautiful things I know.

Eszter can walk and knit at the same time. That is a rare skill.

I have no choice but to invite those colors into myself. Literally - onto my head.

I put on the hat she knitted. The hat resembles the shape of the hill.

I am wrapped by rocks and forest.

I fit beneath a rock overhang, almost as tall as I am.

So I can sit comfortably at the very top, on Rudolf’s Stone, even when the wind blows hard.
